Clubs
Beyond the classroom, Our Lady Immaculate School fosters a vibrant environment where students can explore their interests and develop new skills. We offer a wide range of before and after-school clubs designed to provide a fun and relaxed space for children to mature, grow, and discover their passions.
Please note you can only book the below teacher-led clubs through our Arbor App!!
Please book all external clubs directly with them on the posters or links provided.

Cricket -Years 1-4
Ready, Set... HOWZZAT?! 🏏
Calling all budding cricketers in Years 1–4! Come and join our action-packed Cricket Club where the focus is on fun, friends, and smashing balls!
We use softballs and plastic bats, so it’s perfectly safe for beginners. Your child will learn how to:

Whack the ball like a pro.

Zoom across the field to save a boundary.

Target the stumps with super-accurate bowling.
It’s all about getting moving and having a blast. No experience (or fancy gear) required!
OLI News Team- Yrs 4-6
The OLI news team will research and write some of the articles for one of our regular student-led newsletters throughout the year. They will find out about events going on in our school and interview those involved to research the stories.
Homework Club - invitation only
In Homework Club, children have a supportive space to complete their homework with the help of our staff and additional resources. It's designed for students who may need a bit more assistance with their learning or face challenges completing it at home. Our goal is to support immediate needs while helping students build habits that encourage independent learning at home over time.
Cricket Years 5-6
Join cricket club to develop your fielding, batting, and bowling skills in a fun and engaging way. You will take part in a range of activities during each session, developing key aspects to help you in Dynamo Kwik cricket matches, which we will play at the end of most sessions. Open to all Year 5 and Year 6 boys and girls.
Girls Cricket - Years 5/6
This club will support students in developing their bowling, batting, and fielding skills in a supportive and fun way. You will take part in a range of progressive drills during each session, which will help you to master the basics and take part in Dynamo Kwik cricket matches. Open to all girls in Year 3/4/5/6.
Running Club- Years 3-6
Join Mr. Keady for Running Club on a Wednesday morning at Alexandra Park. As well as taking part in some long runs around the park, which will develop your stamina, you will also take part in some team-based activities focusing on speed and agility. It is a great,t energetic start to the day, with each member feeling a sense of pride and achievement all before 8.45 am!
This club will be open to children in years 4 to 6, whether they are new to distance running or regularly attend Parkruns. The aim of this is very much for the participating children to achieve personal bests and embrace the joy of running.
This year, due to our previous and valued participation in previous editions of the Mini London Marathon, we were given spaces without needing to enter a Ballot. As a school, we have 25 places in the one-mile distance and 15 places in the 2.6K distance.
We have decided to give priority to those who sign up and attend our KS2 Wednesday morning running club.
Chelsea Foundation Girls Football- Years 1-3
With an emphasis on development through fun and games. All participants will learn a new skill or technique each week, as well as taking part in fun themed games and matches.
Choir Club- Years 4-6
Do you love to sing? Our Years 4-6 Choir Club is the perfect place to let your voice shine! We'll explore a variety of songs, from pop hits to musical theatre and traditional tunes, all while learning about pitch, rhythm, and harmony. You'll gain confidence, make new friends, and have the opportunity to perform for the school community. No experience necessary – just a passion for music and a willingness to sing your heart out! Crochet Club - Years 3-6
Are you ready to learn a relaxing and rewarding new skill? We'll start with the absolute basics, from holding your hook and yarn to mastering essential stitches like the chain, single crochet, and double crochet. You'll learn to read patterns, fix mistakes, and create your very first projects in a fun, friendly, and supportive environment. No experience needed – just a desire to learn! We'll dive into intricate patterns, explore complex techniques like amigurumi and lace, and master professional finishing touches. Expand your skills, tackle exciting projects, and connect with fellow crochet enthusiasts. Come create something amazing with us!
Board Games Club - Years 3-5
At the board games club, you get to learn how to play new board games that you haven't tried before or play games that you may already know. We play a variety of games, from chess and backgammon to dice games like Yahtzee and Shut the Box to card games like sevens and Dobble. The board games club gives you the chance to relax and play a game after school, or hone your strategic thinking skills while playing games. Come and join us for some games and fun.
Competitive Chess Club - Years 3-6
Chess is more than just a game; it’s a workout for the mind. Our afterschool club provides a calm, focused environment where students can develop critical life skills through play.

Nature Club - Reception-Year 2
Give your child the chance to unwind and reconnect with nature after a busy school day. Our Nature Club provides a gentle, sensory-led environment where children can learn through play.
Focusing on the "Five Ways to Wellbeing," we encourage children to:

Art Club - Years 3-6
Unlock your creative potential!
Our Art Club provides a space for Year 3–6 students to experiment with materials and different techniques.
Students are often looking for a balance between learning real techniques and having the freedom to doodle. Turn those sketches into masterpieces at our KS2 Drawing & Art Club!
